Bon film, il semble y avoir (beaucoup) de longueurs, mais en fait, toutes les scènes sont importantes : à voir en groupe de préférence, car personnellement, j'ai adoré voir les réactions de mes amis alors que j'étais la seule à l'avoir déjà vu. C'est le genre de film qui est meilleur la deuxième fois.

Film étrange et intriguant à la fois. On me l’a recommandé, car initialement j’étais réticent à aller le voir. Voir Banderas dans autre chose que la formule hollywoodienne m’attirait mais le sadisme annoncé me repoussait. Finalement, ce n’est pas aussi explicite que je ne le craignais. C’est tant mieux. L’histoire est quelque peu invraisemblable poussant la sublimation psychanalytique au-delà de la crédibilité. C’est cette invraisemblance qui a gâté mon plaisir.

Encore une fois Almodovar frappe fort avec une histoire bien ficelée qui vient nous surprendre par son déroulement inattendu. Il est bien le seul à nous mener dans une aventure insolite à laquelle on ne peut porter aucun jugement même si le sujet est controversé.

Un Almodovar, on ne rate jamais cela. Mais que dire de celui-ci, sinon qu'il rappelle un peu l'univers de Cronenberg. Malaise, ambiguité, désir, disons-le, il s'agit d'une histoire tordue, avec un dénouement prévisible. Très léché plastiquement, mais finalement, peu émouvant. Pour les inconditionnels du cinéaste.

Nous sommes sortis du cinema, mon amie et moi, complètement sonnés. Un grand, très grand Almodovar. Tout est remarquable dans ce film. Les images, la musique, le jeu, le traitement du sujet. À revoir.

Étrange et fascinant. Plus qu'un drame, c'est un thriller psychologique. On comprend le scénario qu'au compte-goutte, lentement mais sûrement. Chaque scène est cruciale et importante, arrive au bon moment, creusant encore plus le mystère et l'étonnement. On suit l'histoire comme un roman qu'on se presse à tourner les pages afin de connaitre la suite. Pedro Almodóvar (devient enfin) un grand réalisateur.

Grande fan de Pero Almodovar! Lorsque le film s'est terminé, un silence palpable dans la salle. Quelques rires inconfortables. La réaction du film: confusion. Un sentiment d'inconfort et de réflexion. Film d'une grande beauté visuelle, un jeu d'acteur subtile et profond. Antonio Banderas est décidément plus riche dans son jeu lorsqu'il joue dans sa langue maternelle. La musique est intelligente, le décor fabuleux, et les costumes créés par Jean-Paul Gaultier sont perfections. Mais définitivement pas pour tous."LOVED IT"!!

En sortant de la salle, j'étais bouche bée... Il m'aurait été difficile de confirmer si j'avais aimé ou non. Après mûre réflexion, oui, j'ai vraiment aimé cette oeuvre profondément dérangeante qui, dans les mains d'un autre cinéaste, aurait pu tourner au grand guignol. Almodovar est un maître. Incontestablement!

Almodovar, c'est le plaisir assuré : l'histoire qui vous tient sur le bout de votre banc, le jeu des comédiens, les couleurs, la musique, les petits fous rire malgré le drame. Mais aussi, bien sûr, toutes ces questions d'éthique qui sont dans l'air du temps et qu'il faut aborder froidement sans se cacher la tête dans le sable. Il est toujours plaisant de réfléchir avec ce maître du cinéma.

Almodovar se lance dans le thriller avec ce film déroutant mais ô combien fascinant. Une mise en scène ciselée au scalpel, une distribution impeccable (Antonio Banderas est plus que parfait), des images qui collent à la rétine, intensifiées par une partition musicale unique et un scénario complexe qui nous prend par surprise à tout moment. On se demande bien, pendant la première demi-heure, dans quel bateau ce cher Almodovar tente de nous faire monter. Mais comme dans tous ses films, le charme opère et nous sommes pris au piège. Il réussit à mêler les cartes, entre mélodrame, science-fiction, épouvante. Et lorsqu'on comprend enfin ce qui se passe, on ne peut qu'embarquer dans cette danse tordue et macabre. Un autre grand cru, à mille lieu des thrillers américains actuels. Le cinéma d'Almodovar possède une âme, et les petits défauts que l'on trouve dans ses films n’entachent en rien toute sa richesse.

Pedro ne m'a pas déçu... J'aime ce genre de cinéma ou tout est permis, même une réalisation aussi inhabituelle. Banderas est excellent. Mais là où il excelle le plus est dans son rôle de chirurgien ou il réalise une oeuvre d'art d'une très grande beauté ;-) En effet Elena Anaya est une magnifique actrice dans tous les sens du mot... Ce film dérange, choque et provoque mais le résultat est quand même étonnant...

Almodovar ne semble pas savoir quelle orientation donner à ce film. Le début se tient, même si quelques scènes semblent relevées du burlesque. On n'y adhère pas. Et plus le film avance, plus l'ensemble devient à la limite du ridicule. Il n'y a pas grand-chose à retirer de ce film, sinon les égarements d'un Almodovar de plus en plus perdu.

Très déçue par le dernier Almodovar. Comme un «remake» de Frankenstein à la sauce 2012 -? - avec la transgénèse appliquée aux humains comme dilemme moral, le décor «vitres, acier, nickel, caméras intérieures, écrans géants etc... » à la CSI Miami et la perversion pathétique des personnages que le jeu des acteurs rend peu convaincants. Trop de violence et de sang! Pour la première fois Almodovar m'a ennuyée...

Je pense que ce film m'a laissé plutôt indifférente. Je l'ai ni aimé, ni détesté. Peut être un peu déçue pour un Almadovar. On reconnaît toujours son style mais dans ce film, les émotions n'étaient pas au rendez-vous. Effectivement l'histoire était forcée et les acteurs ne m'ont pas convaincu. Enfin, peut-être que le prochain sera meilleur.

EXTRAORDINAIRE! Almodovar cisèle un très, très beau film. Scène après scène, nous plongeons dans les univers complexes de personnages névrosés. L’intelligence du récit nous ficelle à notre siège. Les comédiens rendent crédibles des personnalités éclatées et délirantes. Dans ce monde où les tensions s’exacerbent, Almodovar nous présente un film moralement dérangeant. Il nous démontre avec brio, son grand talent. Merveilleux! Le septième art existe encore.

Le mythe de Pygmalion revisité, un peu dévoyé et apprêté à la sauce scientifique. Film d'horreur? Je n'ai éprouvé ni frisson ni angoisse. Film de suspense? L'action ne m'a pas rivé à mon fauteuil et je ne me suis pas rongé les ongles. Film de science-fiction? La science-réalité va plus loin que cela. Film mystère? Le «punch final» était éventé dès la première moitié du film au point que je n'ai pas compris le pourquoi de la dernière séquence. Un bon petit film, relevé d'invraisemblances, à déguster avec un grain de sel. Je me suis senti loin de tous les personnages et aucun n'a suscité ma sympathie. L'évolution psychologique de Robert/Pygmalion de la haine vers l'amour est limpide et bien rendue. Les autres caractères, y compris Vera/Galatée, sont plutôt falots [...]

WOW! L'un des films le plus osé, le plus incroyablement dément que j'ai vu dans toute ma vie! Les acteurs sont fantastiques! Les quelques scènes de sexe qui m'ont fait rire, étaient plutôt amusantes et non dérangeantes. Si vous désirez vous changer les idées, je vous conseille ce film qui est un incontournable pour les cinéphiles! C'est vraiment du Almodovar!

Mes remarques vont sans doute vous paraître marginales mais je suis sorti très déçu de ce film. Aucun sentiment ne se rattache à cette histoire qu'on pourrait découper au scalpel. Et que dire des invraisemblances qu'on y trouve, notamment des draps de lit plus écarlates et trempés que le plus sanguinaire sol d'une entreprise d'abattage d'animaux. Vraiment exagéré. Quant au suspense; on repassera. Ce n'est pas parce que les personnages sortent les couteaux et les pistolets que ça en fait un bon 'thriller'. Les scènes de 'simili-viol' sont à se tordre de rire tellement elles ont l'air chorégraphiées. Quand, dans l'une d'elles, un jeune excité se préoccupe davantage de défaire le bouton de sa chemise que de descendre sa culotte, c'est sûrement qu'il manque plus d'air que d'envie. Enfin, Antonio Banderas et Elena Anaya sont de très jolies personnes mais, c'est à peu près tout.

Toutes les caractéristiques du style Almodovar sont mises au service d'un film très beau visuellement et très prenant: jeu excessif des comédiens, goût du mélodrame et du carnavalesque, exploration des fantasmes sexuels. Aucun des personnages n'«habite» bien sa peau car elle lui est imposée de l'extérieur et le dépossède de son identité: la mère se définit par son tablier de domestique, le fils pauvre se déguise en bête et se comporte comme tel. La féminité se fabrique comme une robe de designer. L'art (les multiples toiles sur les murs) et le cinéma participent à ce jeu de travestissement douloureux. Bref, Almodovar est au diapason de l'Espagne: après la libération politique et sexuelle, on est vraiment dans les lendemains qui déchantent!

Voilà du bon cinéma. Pas un film parfait mais une histoire très particulière, beaucoup d'imagination, de bons dialogues, des images soignées et de très bons acteurs. Bref, tout ce qu'il faut pour passer 2 heures très agréables.

Qu'il est tordu et tourmenté l'univers de Almodovar! Lentement il nous y laisse entrer, et sans s'en rendre compte il nous tient jusqu'à la dernière seconde. L'intrigue est bien ficelée et les acteurs sont trés bons. On en redemande. Bravo.

Très bon choix d'acteur (trice) pour ce film à l'histoire tordue. Raconté tout en simplicité, cette histoire a réussit à me captiver. Même les quelques longueurs du film sont intéressantes et nécessaires au déroulement du film. Et la surprise lorsqu'elle arrive est de taille. Juste la finale, un peu trop simpliste à mon goût m'a un peu déçu. Trop prévisible et on se demande pourquoi le personnage principal tombe si facilement dans le panneau. Mais dans l'ensemble un très bon film qui sort des sentiers battus!!

J'avais très hâte de voir ce film étant un amateur d'Aldomovar. Et j'ai été comblé! Il n'y a que ce réalisateur qui peut se permettre de nous conter des histoires tordues avec une telle facilité. Il n'y a que lui qui peut nous surprendre ainsi au détour d'un rebondissement. Et il n'y a que lui qui peut nous faire questionner sur notre humanité personnelle et notre morale, tout en la chamboulant brusquement. Un seul souhait, que sa production soit longue et prospère! Encore! Wow!

Film d'une grande intensité. Jusqu'où la folie et la démesure peut-elle amener un homme à se faire justice. Très bien joué par les acteurs. Malgré les nombreux flash back, le fil conducteur de l'intrigue est maintenu.

J'ai souvent adoré les films d'Aldomovar, mais celui-là m'a semble être un remake original de Frankenstein. Surprenant et doté d'un suspense correct, c'est vrai, mais ni émouvant, ni drôle, ni portant à la réflexion. Soirée correcte au cinéma, sans plus.
